I ask all of my students to be prepared for their lessons with a notebook and pencil for lesson notes and assignments. I ask them to bring any materials they have and will often recommend books and supplemental material I have had success with. I encourage students to set smaller, individual goals that can help them reach the larger goals they may have. I have taught two different hour long group vocal classes twice a week, one for ages 3-6, and the other for 7-10 year olds.
