I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, now living in New Jersey. In 2012, I graduated with my Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Pedagody from Westminster Choir College. I earned my Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance in 2010, also from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. My teaching experience started the last year of attending Heidelberg University when I was required to instruct a high school student drum lessons as part of my internship. After graduation in 1991 I had my first vocal student in my home. In 1995 is when I had my first experience teaching in a music store environment. The store was known as Howland's Music World and was there until 1997. 2023 marks my eighth year as a private lesson instructor! I taught my first lesson during college for a local studio and have continued teaching ever since. I have been a church accompanist since I was 13 years old and have accompanied many soloists, school choirs, and musical theater groups - I even played keys in a few jazz bands! My other music delight is composition, and I have written scores for my own esemble group to perform at weddings and events while also selling some online. I also wrote an arrangement for a fellow music teacher's ensemble to perform for their spring concert.
