Singing has brought great joy to my life. From a young age my family and teachers encouraged me to overcome my inhibitions of singing so as to express my feelings through song. I began voice lessons at the age of seven with Verna Rantz, of Quakertown, Pa.. Verna had obtained her classical training at the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music and performed in the New York Metropolitan Opera company. I was classically trained at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts, majoring in musical theatre. I also work as a recording artist and songwriter for a licensing company, writing pop music for TV and commercials. I enjoy working with young children and also those with special needs especially infants to provide sensory stimulation through music therapy.
