My student load for teaching was quite large right off the bat, but I found out quickly that it was absolutely wonderful to teach so many different kinds of singers! The students I teach at the college are mostly Theater Arts majors, but all of them enjoy learning a basis in classical technique. I use multiple materials in trianing the students and I also respect the sacrifice of the parents in getting them lessons, so much uf the material is made by me with specific focus on that student. I do use some of the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements Series material cause it is consistent and user friendly. I then took a year to work in the industry at several regional musical theater and opera houses domestically and internationally. I then went to Miami University for my graduate studies in classical voice. I have diverse performance career ranging in everything from professional one man cabaret shows to leading roles in opera.
