I follow the type of music they are interested in and I also suggest other genres. Students who pursue Musical Theatre are encouraged to get their own books with audio accompaniments. I am always willing to suggest fitting songs to all of my students based on their level, range, style and personality. With Adults singers I have a flexible curriculum based on their musical background/interest and goals. I've been teaching in the greater Los Angeles area for almost 20 years, teaching students from ages 4 - 92 (yes, really! 92!). I then decided to major in music, for which I'm still undertaking, which has taken my musicianship much higher.
