In 2016 I graduated from Saarland University of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance and vocal pedagogy. After graduation I had opportunities to sing in various concerts, opera and musical theatre productions in Germany, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, London, Nicaragua and New York. Stefanie made her international operatic debut last season as Adina in LElisir dAmore with Musica Viva Hong Kong. This spring, she premiered a role in each of Bruce Saylors world premiere one-act operas, My Kinsman, Major Molineux The Image Maker. An avid linguist, Stefanie has studied languages and performed recitals in Italy, Germany and Austria, and was chosen as the first-ever recipient of the National Italian American Foundations Andrea Bocelli Music Scholarship. My mother influenced my life as a musician. In 1969 she encouraged me to audition for the Newark Boys Chorus. I auditioned. I was accepted and sang in choir-school for three years, singing music from Renaissance to R&B. In 1980 I received a BM and MMT from Oberlin Conservatory. At Oberlin I met three great teachers who encouraged me to sing professionally. I pursued the career!
