For all of my students, I like to begin by teaching correct "warm-up" methods. It is important to learn how to "warm-up" correctly so as not to hurt your voice. These methods usually differ from student to student, depending on their voice. For beginning students, I would like to begin with "Twenty-Four Italian Songs and Arias". For younger children, I would start with fun songs such as musical theatre or show tunes. Read More

Since 2007, I've documented various events, such as an international summer course for music and dance educators in Czech Republic, a children's English language and Art camp in Ibiza Spain, and a national archery competition in Austria. Recently in New York, I assisted as GE swing for a Studio 4 horror production and volunteered as a videographer for DOC NYC, America's largest documentary film festival. Read More

I strive to make a true connection with my students and give them lots of opportunity for growth and exploration in our music lessons. It is exciting and rewarding for me and my students to unlock new discoveries and make progress! I like to encourage this by setting realistic goals and giving opportunities to perform for each other and create a safe place to try new things. I believe music to be so richly rewarding for anyone. The first teaching concept I focus on is the capacity to produce great sounds with the least amount of effort. Therefore I spend some time in getting the student to play very relaxed to create a relationship with body and mind, I believe music is an extension of the body and so if the mind and body are relaxed then music will come out flawless. We will use students ideas of songs they are interested in learning as well as some of my own suggestions for repertoire. Read More

I started teaching privately in college, at the age of 18 in numerous studios throughout New York City. I have taught people of all ages, from the age of 5 to people in their 70s. Setting realistic goals and making sure my students have proper practice habits is key to ensuring their growth in both singing and playing the piano. I also like to delve into what my students want to learn and am open to working on any style, including classical, pop, rock, and more. Read More

Music is my passion, and I strive to keep the music from yesterday alive by performing them, and encouraging and teaching others to do the same. It is most important to be unique, and to find your own sound, your own voice. I started singing professionally when I was 12 years old. My style eventually evolved to what it is today. I am still learning, and I will continue to learn to become a better singer and musician. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice
All of my students have personalized lesson plans. I take into account their learning style, their musical passions, where they struggle, and where they thrive. With beginning vocal and piano students who are younger, I often use a music theory book right away. I use the Hal Leonard theory books and the Full Voice Vocal Series books. For my adult students, I do a lot of my own worksheet-making. When it comes to vocal repertoire, I pick everything individually. Read More
