I was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the United States as a child in the early 1970's. He studied violin and music composition at the New England Conservatory, Interlochen Arts Academy, the Tanglewood Institute, and Northwestern University. I have over 30 years of experience teaching and performing, playing concert halls such as Vienna's Musikverein and Boston's Symphony Hall. I am currently based in Los Angeles, California. For 10 years I was concertmaster of the Fresno Philharmonic and have performed as soloist and concertmaster of the Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra touring throughout Europe, Canada and the United States.
