My students hold a busy schedule with violin recitals and are also given the opportunity to participate in master classes. While they are learning from that certain method I do encourage students to tell me what songs they enjoy listening to and we will choose easy versions of the song that keeps them motivated and excited. I am teaching the students by wide range from beginners to most advanced. I use Suzuki method combined with traditional teaching materials and traditional teaching methods for advanced students. For younger students, I mainly use Suzuki teaching method, combined with etudes, like Alwin Schroeder's 170 Foundation Studies. Teaching all age group students with scales as well. I am a violinist and fiddler based in Echo Park, and have been teaching privately as well as in public schools and music camps for about eight years. In 2013 I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Ethnomusicology, and have since been writing, recording and performing with several ensembles in a variety of genres.
