I have been playing violin for about fourteen years and want to share my knowledge to new students. I am a multi-instrumentalist that enjoys playing different styles of music and am passionate about music theory. I have a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from California State University San Bernardino, as well as a Master of Music in Violin Performance from California Baptist University. I grew up as a Suzuki student, but in my professional teaching life have learned to add additional methods into lessons to supplement training. For young, beginner students, I start them off with a method book like "All for Strings," which teaches first by rote. I graduated from the renowned Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music Conservatory Performing Arts Bachelor Program in Istanbul/Turkey. After my graduation, I studied Sound Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I have worked on projects, from performances studio recording sessions to podcasting, and sound for films. I was assistant professor in University of Mississippi for ten years and taught applied cello and string Bass lessons. Many of my students went to further professional studies and started their music career.
