Once the students made progression in basic fundamentals, I use the Suzuki Methods Books and Solo for Young Violinists by Barbara Barber. Along with that, I introduce the students to the chamber music so that the students learn to play with others. Since I moved to California in 2002, I focused on music education; I was director of Waltrips Yamaha Music School, and later a director of the music program and a faculty member at the Arroyo Pacific Academy. After my graduation, I studied Sound Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. The second curriculum will be be centered on more contemporary music; Jazz, Pop, etc. In this curriculum, we will study and learn the different keys and chords, improvisation, etc. In both paths, my students will have the opportunity to perform on an annual basis in front of other students and parents.
