The skill level of my students range from Beginner to Intermediate. For Piano Students: My beginner students start with the Bastien Piano Basic Method Books. I assess what book level is necessary during our first lesson. Other beginner material I use are: Alfred's Basic Piano Library Lesson Books, Older Beginner Piano Course (For Adult Beginner Students), and Piano Adventures series. I am currently a student as SFSU and I am 18 years old. While I am on the younger side of teaching, I have numerous experience with playing violin and also with good bad violin teachers. I have been the first chair in every orchestra Ensemble since I have been in the 7th grade including the CMEA Bay Area Secdtion Ensemble, Honor Orchestra, Bay Area Honor Orchestra, College of Marin Symphony Orchestra, etc I have also gotten three music scholarships from three universities, however, since I want to follow a different path, I decided to turn it down. I began teaching private violin and viola lessons in 2012, and I greatly enjoy working with my students. They range in age from 3 1/2 to adult, and each one has been unique. After beginning lessons with my first student, teaching a semester of music theory, and teaching a summer camp, I became interested in Suzuki methodology and pedagogy.
