During my internship with Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center  and volunteer work with The Cavalier Music Enrichment Program (both based in Baltimore, Maryland), I have taught music to over 250 students. From general music theory to specific instruction in brass, woodwind, and percussion techniques; I have had the privilege to work with students of various ages, spanning from sixth graders to college students. Teibel of the Buffalo Philharmonic from childhood through High School. I toured the Southeast US with the Oberlin College Choir and Orchestra in college. Additionally, by trying to find out what inspires the student, I can tailor my instruction to their wants and needs successfully. I choose to work step by step. Not to force them or pressure them on anything. As I mentioned above, having this balance between having fun, enyoing and learning how to be responsible and dedicated, is healthy and efficient! Important is to understand that to learn an instrument, you also need to practice, at least 30 min per day and not just only wanting to have the lesson, because the progress will be very minimal and slow, and the learning process will become very boring. I've also been involved with various music festivals, including the Manhattan International Music Festival, where I customized lessons for young musicians and organized enriching masterclasses. In my private music studio in Shanghai and Germany, I've taught both violin and viola, covering a wide range of repertoire and essential techniques. Furthermore, my leadership experience as the Principal Viola in orchestras such as The Four Seasons Chamber Music Orchestra of DC, Orchestra Academia China, Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, and others has deepened my understanding of orchestral dynamics, interpretation, and the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism. Especially for younger students, it gives them a way to show their emotions when words are not enough.
