I understand that it is a challenge for students to go home and practice, so I address this by setting goals for the student. I want the student to leave the lesson feeling proud of what they accomplished and motivated to continue learning. In August 2021, I completed my time at The Orchestra Now at Bard College, which I joined in 2019. We performed classical orchestral works in various venues throughout New York, including Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I've been playing viola for over 15 years.
