For beginners I use a method book for learning how to read music and learn music theory.  Once the basics are attained I introduce scales and etudes to build on the technical aspects of playing the instrument.  Solo books are also added to the repertoire for the student so that they can use everything they have learned thus far and express that in a piece of music. I take each student's individual needs into account and work on scale or Kreuzter etudes, and assign them solo repertoire suitable for their playing level and practice habits. I have eight years teaching experience in collage with differnt levels. I have my student working with orchestras, recording career, Tv music programs.. I hold the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance and a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Kansas.
