I have eight years teaching experience in collage with differnt levels. I have my student working with orchestras, recording career, Tv music programs.. I hold the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance and a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Kansas. I taught violin and chamber music for eight years at the Sulaimany Fine Arts Institute in Kurdistan. After completing her student teaching at the Liberty Public School District, she pursued her field experience and prepared for her career as an educator at numerous schools ranging from grades 4 - 12 and college students. Currently, Karla plays 4th chair viola with the St. Joesph Symphony and in the past has also performed for KC Civic Orchsestra. She is also the Viola player with Crescendo Trio.
