I also had the opportunity to work as a music director for a youth orchestra in Italy which improved my skill in orchestral direction as well as working with large ensembles. For piano I use the Alfred series, and for violin and viola I use a combination of Essential Elements and Suzuki books. As students advance I introduce additional solo repertoire.
