In 2015, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with two Bachelor of Music degrees in Viola Performance and Composition. In 2018, I graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Master of Music degree in Composition. During my time at both universities, I performed in many music ensembles ranging from duos to large symphony orchestras. I am a traditional teacher in that I focus on laying a secure foundation to prevent any unnatural habits from blocking the students progress in the future and helping the student become completely independent of the teacher. The student learns the skills necessary to teach themselves. I taught at the Boston Conservatory extension program when it existed. I went to japan and saw Suzuki as part of my training for teaching the Suzuki method. I belong to ASTA and SAA , SMS and AFM I've had students playing in the suzuki festivals. Students I've taught are now having excellent careers as professional musicians.
