Once I am comfortable with a solid foundation of Trumpet fundamentals I will add solo trumpet literature into the lessons and assignments so that there is a balance between technical exercises and trumpet literature. From there I guide my lessons on how to properly practice between the lessons so that there is a steady progress throughout.
