I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with musicians of all backgrounds and levels. In 2019 I graduated from UMass Amherst with a BM in Jazz studies and a BS in environmental science. Studying with Eric Berlin (principal trumpet of the Albany Symphony Orchestra) and Jeff Holmes (grammy winning piano and trumpet player) informed my knowledge of trumpet technique and music theory. I believe that no two students are alike; for each of my students, I create an individual, custom-tailored plan and routine to help solve the most challenging issues in their playing. I usually start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements for beginners. Once you progress with the basics, we move on to trumpet repertoire, whether trumpet solos or duets. For older students, we will begin with trumpet repertoire while combining it with songs that you like to listen to.
