One thing that remains the same throughout is that I try to discover what my student is trying to gain from my guidance. As a teacher, I like to focus on each students needs as becoming a well rounded musician.  I like to work from a few method books including Arbans, Rubank, and Schlossberg for building up your embouchere as a trumpet player.  We will focus in on technique, embouchere building, jazz improvisation, and music theory. Since I began learning piano, my cousins would ask me to show them what I had learned in my latest lesson and attempt to teach them. Even then I enjoyed the experience of sharing and teaching music. When I was 15 I began teaching guitar lessons to a small group of students who attended service at the church my family attends.
