I am a trumpet player, composer and educator. I grew up in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston, MA in 2012 where I attended Berklee College of Music for my undergraduate and graduate studies. I believe that music is a great tool for communicating to each other even past language and cultural barrier. I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule especially for younger students, as it tends to help them progress and gain a passion for the instrument. After the first couple of lessons, I will set goals with the student, and their parent (if the student is a child.) Being able to acknowledge that a goal has been met allows the student to have a desire to continue with the instrument they are learning. Passing goals and allows the student eager to learn.
