My four years playing in the Navy was an experience in learning that could not have been accomplished elsewhere. I traveled the world performing concerts everywhere and finally ending up being the lead trumpet with the then brand new Orlando Naval Training Center Show Band. After leaving the Navy, I formed my own show band and toured the US for five years, playing night clubs and backing up such entertainers as The Four Aces, Joanne Castle, Bobby Rydell, Fats Domino, Dick Contino and Al Hirt. My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts.
