I've been teaching since 2018. My teaching experience ranges from beginner to collegiate and I've taught as young as 8 and as old as 40. My initial goal is to create a connection with both the student and the family (family support it the best way to improve!). My teaching philosophy focuses on using personal experiences to relate to musical ideas (ex, breathe like you're jumping into a pool). My first experience teaching someone was when I was younger in my high school days, I was teaching my 7 year old nephew how to play ukulele which was an arduous task indeed. But through said trails and tribulations we managed to accomplish our goals together. Currently Im teaching guitar at the fine arts academy and I am teaching one student consistently while also substituting occasionally.
