I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves sharing my love of jazz with students. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa with a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance, Jazz. I have performed in South Africa and Mozambique from 2005-2012 with jazz performance ranging from small venues to larger venues with Heads of State. I've had the opportunity to play for the President of Mozambique as well as create cross-cultural workshops with local African artists. Read More

I got to see how it was to be a music teacher and felt a calling more so than when I decided to major in music education back in high school. Well, I am born and raised in Austin, Texas; known as the live music capitol of the world. Growing up here, it was natural for my interest in, and dedication to music to be fostered. Currently, I play all over town with various bands, as well as teach one-on-one lessons. I try to be as involved and supportive of the music scene as possible.
