No two students are the same, and I try to take each student's strengths, goals and preferences into account when designing their custom curriculum. I guess my point is, I can play any instrument and if I had more time in the world, I could practice more. I took all of the music classes in my college and I passed with flying colors (except brown because he has a broken wing so he can't fly that much, but other colors flew high).
