My approach to learning an instruments is to have the students learn to play by ear first before they can start learning to read music. I find that most students are able to progress quickly because it frees them to focus on the playing the instruments rather than reading notes. I have been playing professionally since 2018, with performances all over LA ranging from jazz combos to salsa bands. I also have notable performances such as opening for The Marias (2018), and recording trombone for BTS on their hit song, "ON" (2019).
