I have been playing professionally since 2018, with performances all over LA ranging from jazz combos to salsa bands. I also have notable performances such as opening for The Marias (2018), and recording trombone for BTS on their hit song, "ON" (2019). My first experience teaching was at the Saturday Conservatory of Music, currently based in San Gabriel, CA. I came on as the trombone teacher, but only acquired one student. This left me available to become a regular substitute and assistant for numerous other classes. I even taught the intermediate theory course for a semester. After I first received my Bachelor's Degree from CSU Fullerton, I opted to showcase my original music through distinct outlets. Born and raised in California, I grew up in a musical family. My father, a singer/songwriter and guitarist, always encouraged me to sing, compose and just make music no matter who was listening. I started trombone lessons at age 13, and immediately fell in love with the art of jazz and improvisation. As a member of the Berkeley High School Jazz Ensemble, I was met with opportunities to travel the world playing music at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy and the Kurashiki Music Festival in Japan.
