I am a passionate performer, student, and teacher who loves to play the trombone and sharing my musical discoveries with all those I come across. I graduated with my Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance from Boston University in 2018. I have had the opportunity to perform all over the United States through my involvement with DCI and as a freelance musician. First and foremost, learning any musical instrument should be a fun experience. With this in mind, each person's lesson is subjective and progresses according to the student's learning style; a beginning 5 yr old student's lesson will look much different that a beginning 14 yr old student's lesson. Each student will learn repertoire from a lesson book, solo repertoire and anything else that they may express interest in. I was born in the Ukraine. I received a degree from the Conservatory of music of Lviv in the Ukraine, where studied trombone. I was performed in Symphonic Band, Brass Ensemble, and the Philharmonic Orchestra. I was previously a band director and music educator in the Ukraine. I give the tools for the student to become a better player and to build confidence. If the student is participating in the schools music program I help them prepare for stage band performances or recitals. Getting everything secure right at the beginning is the key to having players who are comfortable and will result in greater successful down the line.
