In 2017, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Performance and Contemporary Writing in Production. My musical background began when at 7 yrs. old I was playing the piano with my mothers instruction. I became a self taught student in brass and piano and later was accepted as a Music major to West Chester University. During HS I became known as a trumpet soloist in Regional and State Bands and in the Salvation Army brass program a cornet soloist. I've taught in public and private schools as an instrumental music teacher and later had my own studio of 50 students. Read More

I believe that my style is really flexible. I think that everybody has a different way to learn so my style will vary based on the student. I also believe that the role of the teacher should the one of facilitating the student process but ultimately is the student who should dictate the style and the pace of the lesson. I believe also that listening is a really important part of music learning so I have my student listening to a lot of different music and also I play with them all the time so that they can hear and feel what is it to play together. My teaching experience began in high school when my band director gave me the opportunity to teach lessons to some students at the middle school. When I went to college, this passion for teaching lessons grew as I was fortunate enough to have a small studio through the help of my college professor. As a teacher, I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule for my younger students, encouraging them that individual practice is their time to learn more about their own instrument and gain a passion for music through performance.
