I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson, and encourage them by praising their achievements. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student's desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. While attending Los Angeles County High School for The Arts, I studied with jazz and trombone legends.
