I am a young, passionate, and eager instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages and sharing my love of music. In 2017, I graduated form the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Studies with a focus in Trombone Performance. Being able to learn and perform all over the country has been one of the most phenomenal experiences as a musician. My teaching experience is very fresh as I only have tutored freshmen in beginner trombone and music theory. I believe if I can teach college music majors trombone I can teach just about anybody. My personal trombone experience is that in high school I studied jazz and learned jazz trombone methods. However, in college I studied mostly classical playing and that would be strongest curriculum. I've also studied piano and found that accompanying a student or at least learning the theory of a song can go a long way in a lesson. Read More

Every student is different so I never take a cookie cutter approach in my lessons. I will address every issue or question each individual student has. I like to figure out what inspires my students and use that to cater their lesson to them. If one of my students really like movie theme music we will learn those songs. I am a third-year undergrad at NYU, studying Music Education with a concentration in instrumental performanceand I love it!
