I began teaching private students while in college through a music store in Ellicott City, MD. I taught students from age 6 to 15. I had up to 15 students on varied occasions. I maintained students on and off throughout my 7 years of music teaching in public schools following graduating from college, but lost many students when I relocated from Baltimore to Lancaster. In addition to performing in myriad musical idioms, I have made a career of private teaching, having conducted over 26,000 lessons since 2001. My teaching experience dates back to when I was a senior in High School. I knew I loved music; but most importantly; I wanted to make a difference. Being from Allentown; there wasn't much to do. I sought music as a gateway to greatness. I remember succeeding in school and my passion for learning and excelling at the Trombone was fulfilling.
