I began teaching private lessons ten years ago while in high school under my own music instructor. She assigned me younger students to co-teach with her as a way to grow my teaching skills. In college I ventured out on my own and began offering private music lessons out of my home. Additionally during this time I worked as a strings instructor at a local music group for homeschooled children. Read More

I’ve also been fortunate to study with and learn from many inspiring teachers and artists over the years, and I bring that experience into my own teaching. My goal is always to create a supportive, structured, and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to grow and explore music at their own pace. Whether you’re picking up the violin for the first time or preparing for an audition, I’m excited to help you on your musical journey! Read More

I have had plenty of experience teaching both privately and in a classroom setting. I began teaching private lessons on the piano and violin in high school, where I mainly had elementary school beginners. In college, I continued to teach private lessons and also had plenty of opportunities to work with students of all different ages and skill levels in a variety of settings. I took plenty of college level courses on education and music and eventually completed my student teaching in a middle and high school orchestra classroom. Read More

Often times though this begins an endless quest that builds upon itself as new abilities are gained and new possibilities explored. Read More
