I am a professional musician who has been teaching private lessons in South Florida since 1986. I play the piano, saxophone, and clarinet, and have performed with many orchestras throughout South Florida. I also have released two children's albums entitled "Math Whiz Multiplication Tables Mastery" (2007) and "Times Tables Jam" (2011).
I have been teaching privately for over 25 years. Also, I am an elementary general music teacher and have been teaching full-time in the public schools since 2002.
Over the years I have encountered many different students with varying musical skills and goals. My goal as a teacher is to assist my students in advancing their skills while helping them achieve their goals. For my beginning/intermediate piano students I use the Bastien and John Thompson method books. For intermediate/advanced students I use the Bastien Older Beginner piano course.
I stress to my students the importance of consistency and repetition in their practice sessions in order to achieve success on their instrument. I also like my students to keep a practice journal so that they can accurately monitor their progress.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
