My music library is expanding and becoming more diverse so that I give work solos with all of my students. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. I was a solo performer playing shows around the Dallas/Fort Worth area and in a popular Salsa band for years before I finally decided to get back into school and see where this musical journey would take me. I have also performed professionally with several bands as well over the past 30 years and currently.
