I received my Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from Cal State Fullerton in 2017, and moved out to CT to pursue my Master's degree at the Hartt School and study with Carrie Koffman. I began teaching when I was in college around the age of 18. I started with a small group of only a few kids and later advanced to teaching over two dozen per week. I was also offered the position of saxophone instructor at my high school's band camp for three consecutive Summers. Then I usually incorporate a few small musical studies that cater to style and performance type. During this time it is important for the student to pay attention to the timbre of their performance.
