Milwaukee Percussion Ensemble for 4 years. After graduating from U.W. Milwaukee I became a full time musician and traveled as a full time musician working throughout the United States and internationally. My teaching experience started in high school when I started teaching harp and piano part time. I had a close relationship with my music teachers growing up and I hope to establish the same type of relationship with my own students as I have with previous ones. It's also important that there is a balance between fun and time put in. Without practice, one cannot play an instrument well. As I notice they are grasping the concepts and able to apply them I then like to find outside resources such as sheet music, classical, pop to allow them to enjoy and discover what they love most.
