Hi! My name is Megan, and I have a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Choral Conducting from Andrews University. Before that, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Voice Performance from Southern Adventist University. Performing has been a joy of mine, and I've had the opportunity to perform with some amazing groups, such as Andrews University Singers and Southern Adventist University's I Cantori. After graduating from Stetson in 2019, I stayed and taught as a Faculty Teacher at the Community School of Music, having more students. During my tenure, I taught students from four to 85 years old. I begin all students with the appropiate level of the Alfred's method. If they have had training with another method, I work to blend that method with the Alfred's method during the first month or two of lessons. Once the student has learned the fundamentals, I introduce them to the solo repertoire appropriate for their level and their genre of greatest interest to them.
