I firmly believe that every student is different and therefore has their own learning style. it is very important for me to understand what their learning style is so that I can cater to that in our lessons. Through this methodology, I have found that my students have more productive lessons and grow faster as vocalists and piano players. Given that I believe every student is different, I will set goals for them based on how quickly they're able to make progress. Read More

I'm passionate about teaching others to love music. It is one of my greatest pleasures. I have been performing and teaching since I was a teen. I have performed both classical and original music and am currently working on a rock album writing piano and orchestra for about 12 songs. We have a Grammy-nominated producer in Denmark producing our album. Seeing new students experience learning to play is a great joy for me as well as helping an experienced student ace a RCM or other performance exam, place in a competition, or enter a music program in college. It's important to me to cater my teaching style to each student. Not all students learn the same way so its not a one size fits all. Some of my students need more pressure and more practice and want to have more material and others like a more laid back approach. I will spend the first 1-3 lessons to figuring out what your preferred learning method is, what the problem areas are, and what kind of books, tools, and games I should prepare for the rest of our classes. Then my parents bought me a guitar when I was 7 years old, and I just knew I had to play and learn as much about it as I possibly could. Read More
