For young beginning students (usually ages 5-7) I would begin with the Hal Leonard Piano Lessons Book series. After I feel that the student can properly read music and understand fundamentals of the piano I will begin to incorporate other methods such as Piano Adventures and the Bastien series. I am an experienced teacher, with many years of experience teaching young children of all ages and abilities. I also have a lot of experience working with adults, mostly beginnners. I have performed with several orchestras throughout my career, as well as in many piano recitals. I consider French Horn my primary performing instrument, and piano my secondary.
