I graduated from Khmelnitsky College of music with a focus in button accordion and piano, and I have earned my master degree from Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine, the same institution that educated noted pianist Vladimir Horowitz and many other renowned performers, composers and educators. I performed with the Veriovka Choir, an award-winning orchestra that tours internationally to share the joy of music with audiences worldwide. I'm an exuberant and competent professional musician and instructor who loves working with students and sharing the love and discipline of my instruments. I hold vocal performance degrees from Pacific Lutheran University and Boston University. Most recently I was a 2022 Laffont District winner and named the 2022 Ted Stevens Young Alaskan Artist recital winner. If you want to get to that level I can certainly help, but I am more concerned about having fun playing trumpet and piano. We will do a lot of listening homework as well, since listening is just as important as playing.
