I am pretty open-minded to provide options for students and allow students to pick the repertoires they are interested. Especially for the young, I place much more emphasis on facilitating musical experiences rather than the integration of musical nomenclature and conceptualization. I grew up in Colorado but have lived in California for the last 25 years. I have four daughters. I love teaching piano and seeing the progress my students make as they learn to play and to love the instrument as much as I do. I learned to play the piano at around age 11 and have been playing ever since.
