I am a freelance cellist who records and performs frequiently with local artist in the Oklahoma City Metro area. I also perform regularly with the Oklahoma City String Quartet. In 2015 I graduated from the Oklahoma City University with a Master's Degree in Cello Performance, and in 2013 from the Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Piano and Cello Performance. I welcome students of all ages from five years and up. My teaching experience began over 20 years ago when I taught voice lessons to several of the choir students at Choctaw High School. I am passionate about music and about helping find the unique approach for each student. Music Theory is the language of music and I focus a portion of each lesson learning that language. For adults/teens, I use the KJOS Bastien book for adults or the upper level books by Hal Leonard.
