Thanks to parents who entrusted their childrens education to me, I was inspired to pursue a degree in Music Education from the University of Victoria, BC. I have taught several students for a period of four to five months. All of my past students have been elementary-aged children with only one to two years of previous piano lessons. I do insist that each student practice one to two hours a day based on what they are taught. This includes, but is not limited to finger exercises, drills, posture and any thing that will make playing better for them.
