I started playing when I was 5 years old and was taught through Suzuki format. It teaches students to learn by ear and that really made a difference in my style of playing. I started writing my own compositions at 13 years old and that is what made me want to learn more. All through highschool I continued to play and eventually got a small album together. I have played for many weddings and special occasions and even for convalescenthospitals. Read More

Next, I teach them scales, chords, and playing techniques that correlate with their level of playing and music comprehension. Once they have mastered said curriculum I teach them songs that they are genuinely interested in. Read More

I started his musical journey as a self taught student, using materials his mother had bought from a family friend and playing on an old electric organ found at a garage sale. It became very clear that music was meant to be a part of my life so he pursued formal training at the University of California, Davis. Read More
