Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage my students by setting realistic goals and proving homework after each lesson to perfect for the next lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Being familiar with nearly every genre of music, I’m capable of teaching any style the student is interested in from movie scores, to broadway show tunes, to gospel, and modern, etc. Of course my favorite style and the one I recommend is the classical curriculum which I usually try to implement with each student as it has shown the best results in the past with students of all ages. For beginning adults I try to determine exactly what they are wanting to achieve by starting an instrument at this point in life.
