If there at level three but haven't touched 16th note triplets and go from there. Written by a couple who are educated both in music as well as child development, I believe that this is a great mix of developmentally appropriate pacing and fun. I believe in the philosophy of and empty cup. My lessons are not built for me to tell the student what to do, but rather learn how they learn and research the best practices for reaching that student. There is no "cookie cutter" method that works for all students, because everyone learns and comprehends a little bit differently. I remain sensitive to that and patient with my students.
