After graduating from Boston Conservatory in 1991, I attained MM from Juilliard in 1993; and, in 2010, I earned a Ph.D. in music from NYU. Music has provided me with many valuable lessons and opportunities of which I instill on my students. I am a Trombonist, Guitarist, Composer and Arranger with a BFA in Jazz Performance from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Therefore, my initial emphasis for each student is to help them master the flute in terms of technique and tone so that they can then concentrate on the style of music that they love.
