I started playing upright bass when I was 10 years old and quickly found that there was nothing that I enjoyed more than music. Throughout high school and college I played in orchestras, bands, jazz bands, rock bands and with singer songwriter friends. I like to encourage creativity in the studio; I don't push every student to have the same musical experiences. Once the student has progressed and has a good grasp of the fundamentals, I will bring in other repertoire appropriate to their level.
